Before leaving for Paris I had purchased a little book called "The Best Vintage Antique & Collectible Shops in Paris," by Edith Pauly. It had the most adorable pictures of all the eclectic goodies I love to look at and collect. I knew we were going to be in the Montmartre area and came across this little shop recommended in the book.
Tombees du camion literally means "goods fallen off the back of a truck."
It's a small shop...packed with many things you'll remember from your childhood and even older things than me. Brea and I were fascinated...unfortunately it was a very warm, humid day and the shop was very steamy...so we didn't stay very long. I walked away with some doll hands, doll eyes, and some Sally Jean blue rhinestone strands.
It was time to explore the Montmartre Cemetery...
